GUAM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

In association with Gensler and Associates, TRMA provided design consultation on materials and local conditions, and contract administration services for construction of the new Guam International Air Terminal Expansion. Phase I is this 750,000 sq-ft expansion was completed in 1996

GMH ED & CCU/ICU EXPANSION

The project includes the Expansion and Renovation of the Emergency Department and the Critical Care Unit / Intensive Care Unit for the Guam Memorial Hospital. The expansion provided GMH with two state of the art Trauma Rooms, two Multipurpose Isolation Rooms, a Decontamination Room, twelve Monitored Examination Stations, two Non-monitored Stations, a Multipurpose Exam Room, a Multipurpose Suture / Cast Room, a Satellite Laboratory and a large, external Permanent Decontamination System, an upgraded Waiting, Triage, Registration, Utility Storage, Office and Staff Lounge Room.

LONG TERM CARE FACILITY

This 60-Bed facility provides skilled nursing and intermediate care with related ancillary services, as a satellite of the Guam Hospital. It also includes the Institute of Aging, a research group dealing with ALS/Parkinsons Disease and other aging-related illnesses.

COMMONWEALTH HEALTH CENTER

Taniguchi-Ruth-Associates worked with the medical planning firm of Rex Whitaker Allen, FAIA for the design of the community hospital and public health center for the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas. TR+A participated in the design process to develop a site, cultural and environmentally sensitive facility.

GUAM ARMY NATIONAL GUARD - ASSEMBLY HALL

The Assembly Hall was completed in 2015 and achieved a LEED Silver Certification. Located in the Army Readiness National Guard, Barrigada complex, the facility provides for a family assistance center including a Pass/ID Center.

PACIFIC ENERGY RESOURCE CENTER

The Pacific Energy Office was designed in 1972 with sustainability concepts found in today's green buildings.  Large overhangs shade windows from direct sunlight, clerestory windows are oriented north and large trees provide shade to the building further reducing the solar heat gain.
