Melet Santos joined Taniguchi Ruth Makio Architects in 1988 where she has gained a diversified experience in planning, design, construction documents, and construction contract administration. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the University of Idaho and has over 37 years of experience on Guam. She has extensive experience with the design, documentation and construction administration for a large number of hotel/resort, airport, commercial, healthcare and hospital facilities, sports facilities, retail and interiors
Melet is a member of the AIA Guam and Micronesia Chapter and has served on the Board of Directors. Melet has been the AIA Scholarship Chair since 2002. She was also involved with the 4-H Architecture Club to assist youths in developing their interest in the field of architecture. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees for CSS Guam/Catholic Charities Guam.
